Golden Age Earrings - The Inspiration

The inspiration behind our most popular collection - Golden Age, lays in the Ancient times - a period in the Greek Mythology known as the Golden Age and the jewelry worn in the Classical Greek Period.
Our most popular collection - “Golden Age” is named after The Golden Age period in the Greek Mythology according to which before all human societies formed, all people lived in the Golden Age, where there was no war, a constant abundance of food for which nobody had to work, and complete happiness.
The Classical Greek Period (known as the Hellenistic period from 325 BC until the rise of the Roman empire in 27 BC) was a period with significant innovations in Greek Jewelry - the increasingly affluent society demanded luxurious objects, especially gold jewelry.
The market for a fashionable gold jewelry exploded. A wide variety of jewelry was produced - earrings, necklaces, pendants, pins, bracelets, armbands, rings, hair ornaments. Jewelry was often passed from generation to generation as family heirlooms and occasionally it was dedicated at sanctuaries as an offering to the gods. Jewelry was worn both in life and death.
Our Golden Age Earrings are plated in rich gold or silver to adorn your beauty and hand hammered by artisans in Brazil.
